I'm just starting to learn how LimeSurvey is working.
Now I'm interested in this question:
What kind of ways I have to fill or generate participants attributes from answers to a special survey, lets call it "profile survey"?
The main idea is to build something like panel system, and when new participant will register in it, he will need to go through special "profile survey" to fill all necessary attributes and maybe he must be able to return to this survey later, to do some corrections in his profile.
I have spend some time in trying to find easy way to do it, but all I can find is only the same scenario description here:

I can't understand, is it only plans or what?
So, maybe someone can help me with this.

If I have to work on a system like this, i start with a afterSurveyComplete event.

So, answer for the main question: System have now such functionality on the user-friendly level.
If i need do such thing, i will need to use some development skills and do this by my own way?

LimeSurvey start to offer some plugin system for specific need.

The plugin can be distributed in GPL (is better) : some example :

- extensions.sondages.pro/
