I need to adda advert banner to header and footer, but don't know where to add the htmlo code to the template, I need it on all pages, the welcome page, the question pages and other pages have looked at the templates but cant work out where

Have a look at the template system. Depends a little on your template.

I would say it should go in the startpage and endpage template file.

im using the template here mefree.info/ and I have looked but cant figure how to get a top and bottom banner and how to add a code to track visitors in the footer

You will need some basic knowledge of HTML to do this. Not much, but without any you won't be able to do this.

You will basically have to look were in relation to other elements of the template (logo, progress bar, questions, etc.) you want to put the banners. Then you need to find the correct position within the html tags within the template.

How does your banner code look like?
