When the user checks the box for "other" in a multiple choice question I would like to show them a textarea instead of a text box so that they can enter more than 1 line and they can see more than 1 line. By default LimeSurvey provides a single line text box.
The easiest solution would be to not use the built-in "Other" feature but add your own "Other" option. You could then add a following long-text question shown conditionally on "Other" being checked.

That's what I'm doing now, but I don't like having the separate questions. I really don't care about the difficulty it takes to achieve this, I just want to achieve it. You wouldn't happen to know what part the source code I would need to modify to place a textarea on the screen instead of a textbox, would you?
