I would like to find out if there is a way I can personalise the survey links that I would send to a number of candidates that will part take in my survey.
i.e When I send them an invite, the link should take them directly to the survey with editable pre filled basic info about them already. :dry:
Did you read the documentation? I have the impression that what you ask is the standard behaviour of limesurvey (links with tokens and attribute fields and url fields). Or what are you missing?
Frans
I did read it, however I couldn't find exactly what I am looking for.
Scenario: I have 1 survey (about Lodges/Guest Houses), and I have 5 participants I want to send invitations to. when they click on the link to the survey, it should open up the survey with e.g the Lodge Name & Physical Address already filled in (by me of course).... But this should be different for the other 4 Lodges.
Hi Nali,
Do you use tokens? If you do: use attribute fields and set the default values of the question to this attribute fields. Of you do not use tokens: use url fields.
Succes
Frans
I think passing larger info like address data into a survey via URL will cause you problems but since you already now about the user/location data, simply use tokens and add this information as additional token attributes.
You can then use placeholders to show the name and address within the survey: {TOKEN:ATTRIBUTE_1}
