Excuse 1: I just wanted to decorate the link user "trivender" posted with some screenshots so users directly see how such templates may look like.tpartner wrote: Advertising?
The solution which worked best for me at several survey projects in the past is to use one main template which works well for common PCs/Laptops and then have another mobile optimized version which scales well on smaller devices such as smartphones.RaCMJS wrote: Hi,
My research group is looking into using templates for mobile devices. Can someone explain how this works if people completing the survey might be using multiple platforms? From our experience, only a small fraction of out respondents complete the survey on a phone or mobile device. If we use the professional mobile device template, how does this affect those using desktop/laptop users?
Those templates linked above support all question types and all Limesurvey features. They were tested with the latest version of all major browsers.RaCMJS wrote: Related to this -
1. Does the mobile template support all question types and java script modifications to regular templates? (e.g. rosters)
Both templates use a placeholder so you can easily add your own logo. You can modify them as needed and use them for different survey projects.RaCMJS wrote: 2. Is the mobile template open source and customizable? That is can we do more than add out logo?
Using a mobile optimized template you can use all the Limesurvey features.tonyge wrote: With the mobile template, cam we use the same options as in the 'regular' template, for example, IP tracking, etc. And is there any statistics which shows that the respondents made the survey on mobile device (and resp[ectively on destop) or we must use google analytics or someting like that to track the mobile devices? Thanx.
