Is it possible to let a respondent receive the answer on e-mail? I'm using LS to collect data for an event registration and the response should be sent to the respondent as a receipt.

The survey is set up anonymous without tokens. I'd like to send answer to a mail address collected in a text field in the survey. Could this be done?

As far as I know, you will need to write some script to make it happen without tokens.

BTW, if you know a respondent's email, it is virtually not anonymous because you can identify who gave what answers.

If you email question code is EMAIL, put {EMAIL} in 'Send basic admin notification email to' (and update the email template).

I will give this a try. I will probably need some inout on how to tweak the mail template. A nice feature for a new question type would be email address field with some basic error checking. Then a feature to auto send answer to such an address (if exists).

There are already some regexp for email adress in our wiki. ANd the 'Send basic admin notification email to' can be easiliy used for this.

You can also add the {EMAIL} placeholder into the "detailed admin notification" field at survey settings -> notification & data management.
That email already contains all answers.

Thanks a lot! This helped a lot and I'm now able to send a copy of the survey answer to the respondent (this time I'm using LS for event registrations thanks to the ranking question).
