I use limesurvey to ask for ranking some pictures. I use this tips to do this :

It's work fine, BUT I need some extra feature:

Now : the user is forced to choose images in order (the first, then second, then third ...),


What I need would tike that the user can choose "this picture will be the third, this one the first, and this one the last"

Now : the unsorted pictures move if we chosse one. I explain. the picture are in a list with float:left css property, so if an element is removed, the gap is filled.

What I need : I want that the unsorted picture dont move!

I thinks it s mayby "just" some javascript tips, but I cant do this..

From LS 2.0 on, you don't need to use any workaround for dragging in a ranking - it's built in. You can simply place the images in your answer options. Once the images have been dragged to the right-hand list they can be resorted.
