1) I want to make the Stars in the Star Rating Slider bigger, change the images-or star colors. I can;t seem to figure out how to alter them via css. Any advice?
2) In regular sliders, I was able to change the slider handle...but not successful in changing the slider background. I thought I had it, but it seems to be "layered". Not sure if this makes sense.
As always, any direction anyone has to offer would be most appreciated.

You have to look to styles-public/star-rating.css ,
Copy paste to your template.css and use another picture.
