Can I change a survey's default language?

Can I change a survey's default language? was created by aukevann
I have a survey with 3 languages. I want to change the default language on the survey. I can change the entry in the MySQL database, but will this mess up other things?

HI,

Think best is to copy the survey before, change lang in the copy ad find if there are anay problem.

You can do it too with exporting to TSV/ update TSV file (use same title for group in each language) and import it again.
Assistance on LimeSurvey forum and LimeSurvey core development are on my free time.

Thanks for your help Denis.
I tried it out on a test site, first ran through all the database tables seemed not problem.
So i changed the language of the survey to one of the additional languages and added the original language to the additional language field. Works without a problem.

Hmmm, if this is no problem, it would be great to have this option in the GUI I think There are often people asking for this.
I answer at the LimeSurvey forum in my spare time, I'm not a LimeSurvey GmbH employee.

Yes, that would be great.
I could find no problem going through the table structures, only thing that is important is that you make sure the same languages stay configure (otherwise I guess there would be a lot of junk left in some tables).
Even managed to do in with an online survey.
