I am creating a social network for a client (based on Elgg -

). There will be about 5,000 members. These members are all patients with a specific illness. Every 3 days, the members will be asked to complete a survey (how they are feeling etc). This will be done through Lime survey. But we will need to know what each user answers and users will need to be able to see the current results of the survey etc. What is the best way to go about this? Should we do something like forcing the user to login to lime survey before completing the survey, and then matching their social network account to their lime survey account? This seems to be approach of a wordpress plugin:
