Is this likely to be a problem?

Basically, I bought SNAP, which although very good in many ways requires a module for design and one for data entry on offline platforms. It gets pretty pricey at that point.

I would have more questions but this is the key one I think.

Hey Nick,

I think it will be easier just installing LS in a local server using for example XAMPP or MAMP, depending on your OS. Both are very good.
At the end with VV files, you can export and import all LS results.

I personally use MAMP with total satisfaction.

We also have a one-click installer which can be used for a USB stick. The whole WAMPP server plus Limesurvey will be installed on a USB stick and when you have gathered all your data you can put each stick into a certain PC and export data and merge it later on as explained above.

This is interesting. So you are saying you can run the application and web server on a USB. I would have thought it was too slow.
If it is possible and convenient I'd be interested in exploring this. One goal of this from my perspective is to provide a tool with some templates that can be used in developing country settings and distributed without charge.
Making it easy to distribute and implement will be a huge help.
If you have a link to this 'one click' package I'd be very interested.

There is a new Limesurvey Android app called "OfflineSurveys" which allows using any Limesurvey survey offline: www.offlinesurveys.com/
