To this:

If you are using a fairly recent version of 2.05 (after October/2013, the month/year format should be "natively" supported (without javascript) in Limesurvey. Just create a normal date question and for example enter yyyy-mm in the date format field.

You should get the datepicker without the "calender" part. Hope this helps....
