==================Subject: Bulk paste / Quick Add answer options in new LimeSurvey 7 editorI'm using the new LimeSurvey 7 Question Editor in LimeSurvey Cloud.
In the Classic Editor it was possible to use “Quick Add” to paste multiple answer options from Word or Excel, with each line becoming a separate answer option.In the new editor I only see “+ Add answer”. If I paste multiple lines there, all lines are inserted into one answer option instead of creating separate answers.Is there a way to bulk paste multiple answer options in the new LimeSurvey 7 editor? Or is Quick Add currently only available in the Classic Editor?If it is only available in Classic: how can a LimeSurvey Cloud user switch from the new editor to the Classic Editor?

You can change the editor via your user menu.
 

 

I recommend to refresh the browser cache. QuickAdd should be available with the new editor as well.


Perhaps there is a bug when switching the editor in the cloud version.
Can you post a screenshot of your new editor?
My testaccount inside LimeSurvey cloud is currently still on Version 6.17.16.



 

Quick Add answers option is missing in LS7 editor. Tested in 7.0.9.


I see no workaround inside the GUI. Lot of work to bring all these features back.
Textformating and source code view are missing on some textparts (e.g. optional help description)

The classic editor will stay for a long time.

 

Is it actually worth filing a bug report e.g. for the missing quick add feature at the new editor?
Not sure if the developers are aware that missing such a core feature, the new editor is actually not really usable for professional survey designers.

I have no idea which person is in the lead for the new question designer. Perhaps they add a edit button on every question to get to the view of the old editor.
Perhaps they will add a detail view for every question.The side bar will not work for all things.

Let's see what happens when LimeSurvey GmbH migrates the LimeSurvey Cloud to version 7.

If you do not manually upgrade before that date, your survey site will be auto-updated to the latest version during the first week of November.
