I am looking for help on the following:

I use R online for making report (for each respondent). The interface between R and Limesurvey was previously done with Limer, but since some time there is Limonaid, developed by Gjalt Jorn Peeters, who has since moved to another position on his University, not actively working with LimeSurvey.

Not being a developer myself, I need help in adapting Limonaid (or Limer) to the most recent versions of PHP and LimeSurvey, thereby possibly also streamlining these interfaces.

Who should I turn to?

Who would want to have a short brainstorm in order to define a development path? I would like to have an FOSS version (as it is now),with an active developer. I am willing to pay some, but my budget is not very big. Maybe we should do a crowd-funding action?

Honestly similar issue here, our custom (local) analytical package uses limonaid and we've had to write fixes for the functions we use and assign them in namespace.

We're considering potentially forking the package and fixing it there but we haven't 100% decided. I'm not really a software developer though so a. there might be better ways to adapt it to the newest changes b. not sure if I'm even capable of it c.would probably only write fixes for functions that my department uses.

I understand. It would be great if we could find a developer that would like to make this package stable for use in LimeSurvey 6/7 and possibly also to add some features.

I do not know such a developer. GjaltJorn, the original developer moved to another position.

Forking the package could be a good option if the current fixes are hard to maintain. Keeping track of LimeSurvey and PHP updates and documenting each change may also help other users contribute.
