Split English language into en-GB en-US for survey participants?

Hi there, I'm looking to localise a survey, but LimeSurvey only has an "English"  option.
Is there a way to separate it by English (United Kingdom) and English (United States)?

I could not find anything in the manual, most of it seems concerned with backend translation but I just want something that will read the "language" field. I'm happy for the UI text to fall back to the text used in the existing "English" language.
There are 12 more languages in our survey by the way, so I need it in the standard field for languages.

I think you could always create a new "language" in your installation (without the need for Limesurvey.org to approve it). But be aware that future updates might overwrite your modifications and you might need to make the corrections again.

Here you can find on how to do this under "Creating a new translation".

  • Provide your LS version and where it is installed (own server, uni/employer, SaaS hosting, etc.).
  • Always provide a LSS file (not LSQ or LSG).
