Please help us help you and fill where relevant:
Your LimeSurvey version: LimeSurvey Community Edition Version 6.15.14+250924
Own server or LimeSurvey hosting: Hosting
Survey theme/template: fruity
==================
From the Participants page, the summary shows 4,234 Total surveys completed. From the Responses page, however, there are only 4,228 Full responses, 234 Incomplete responses, and 4,462 Total responses. That is, 6 responses were not recorded in the responses table.

The attached is a screen shot showing that the participant completed the survey on 5/18. However, I was not able to view response details for this participant and no record was found for this participant.

Has anyone experienced this and found a solution? Thanks.

So in the response table they are there? And you can't look at their responses? I can see that there are responses, not sure what the 'zero' is.

What happens when you export the responses? Are they there?

Help us to help you!
  • Provide your LS version and where it is installed (own server, uni/employer, SaaS hosting, etc.).
  • Always provide a LSS file (not LSQ or LSG).

Your LimeSurvey version: LimeSurvey Community Edition Version 6.15.14+250924
Own server or LimeSurvey hosting: Hosting

Also, what is it? The "Community Edition" or "Limesurvey Pro Hosting" by the Limesurvey GmbH?

If you host with the Limesurvey GmbH, you can also open a support ticket to check with them.

But given that your version of Limesurvey is from September 2025, I guess it is not hosted by the Limessurvey GmbH, because they are usually more "up to date" than that in my experience.

Help us to help you!
  • Provide your LS version and where it is installed (own server, uni/employer, SaaS hosting, etc.).
  • Always provide a LSS file (not LSQ or LSG).

They are not in the Responses. The screenshot was taken from the Participants interface, which shows that View response details is grayed out. Zero indicates there is zero use left.

It is the Community Edition. We installed it ourselves on a hosting site.

Hi,
your screenshot doesn't really help.
We only know: it is a closed survey.
But which settings did you use?

Maybe we see a way to reproduce this. Or did you?

Seeing that there are only 6 out of 4200 I consider something like "participant's creativity"

I suppose you didn't get any feedback from participants about strange behaviour or errors.

The best and easiest is to send the lss export of the survey

Hi,
well, there seems to be nothing really suspicious in the survey itself
But it depends on many additional attributes. Some seem to be numbersm but some are obviously text.
Did you check if there are some strange characters in the additional attributes of the missunng participants.

As a do not know what exactly mean this attributes, except "street", "email", etc. I can't really test.

Best regards
Joffm

I checked the other attributes of the participants who completed the survey according to the Participants page but don't have a response in the Responses page and did not notice anything in particular. Thank you for your help.
