Hi all,

Is there a native function to select and delete multiple Question Groups simultaneously?

I need to remove several groups from a survey structure. Currently, I can only find the option to delete them individually via the "Structure" sidebar or the group settings, which is inefficient for a large cleanup.

I am looking for a list view with checkboxes that allows for bulk actions on groups.

Hi Jorge,
Unfortunately, there is only a bulk function for deleting questions, not for question groups (see "Overview questions and groups" in the survey menu). But you can export the survey as a tab-separated values ​​file, delete all the unnecessary question groups from the file and then import the file again.

Thanks for the tip! That TSV workaround is a great way to handle macro-editing.

I suspect the lack of this feature is intentional, as the documentation notes that bulk-editing is restricted for groups to prevent administrators from accidentally deleting multiple groups and all their nested questions, subquestions, and response data.

Do you think it is still worth suggesting a "bulk delete" implementation with extra safeguards on the official feature tracker, or is this safety-first design generally preferred by the community?
