==================

Hello,

I require some assistance - I have a randomised multiple numerical input question type where I would like a unique suffix to display next to each input box which changes based on the number typed in (different text displayed whether the number is over, under, or exactly matches a specified amount).

I have managed to create this in a way whereby the required descriptions are displayed in a separate text display question (rather than as a suffix), however this is not ideal as the descriptions are not in-line with each input row (see screenshots and .lss file attached).

Please note that with the desired result I would like it to work with the randomisation, keeping the appropriate descriptions in the correct row even when rows are randomised.

A workaround similar to this may work, but this one does not preserve the randomisation and I'm not sure how to incorporate the {expressions} without breaking the javascript: forums.limesurvey.org/index.php/forum/in...ut-questions?start=0

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Here is what it currently looks like:

Hi,
I can offer this solution.
An array(text), second column set to "readonly" and filled by a script.
Some css to get different column widths.

Another question.
Will there be this specific amount in the subquestion text, surrounded by brackets?
Or was this only to test?

Hi Joffm,

Thank you for looking into this.

The wording of the subquestions will be different (these ones are just generic examples for testing) - however I will keep those numbers in the subquestions to show to the respondent how many points are typically (currently) allocated to a service. The suffix will be different based on whether the value entered by the respondent is over or under the value indicated in brackets (as per your second screenshot).

Please note that each suffix will be worded slightly differently for each service, as well as worded differently whether higher or lower than the value indicated in brackets.

If you have a script I can insert, or an .LSS, I am comfortable with modifying the values and text strings as needed.

I knew this, and my texts were only examples for showing

Here a sample survey

You see, you have to adapt to your QCODES and the text. And furthermore it relies on the numbers in brackets, though you can remove them, but hardcode the values.
