(Write here your question/remark)Hello dear forum,

I'd like to ask if there's a way to filter the columns of a numeric matrix.

That is... in a previous question, let's call it Q05, I have a multiple-choice question with 10 answer options where you select the supermarket you visited in the last month. In my next numeric matrix question (Q06), I want to filter the supermarkets you selected in Q05.

Is this possible?

Thank you all very much for your attention.

Hi,
this can be possible.

You may use the plugin "hideEmptyColumn"
gitlab.com/SondagesPro/QuestionSettingsType/hideEmptyColumn

But you did not answer the question about the hosting.
Are you allowed to install plugins?

If not, there is a workaround using the css and js of the plugin directly.

Better, you send the lss export of these relevant questions.

Hi Joffm

Thank you very much for your response.

I forgot to mention that we couldn't install plugins because we don't have full control.

But here's the lss file with the structure of these two questions.

Thank you very much :)

And you should update/upgrade. Your version is over 2 years old now.

Help us to help you!
 • Provide your LS version and where it is installed (own server, uni/employer, SaaS hosting, etc.).
 • Always provide a LSS file (not LSQ or LSG).
Note: I answer at this forum in my spare time, I'm not a LimeSurvey GmbH employee.
