Is it possible to easily copy an answer from a survey to another with API? I am using LS 6.x, upgraded to newest version.

(The whole picture is larger: an answer to survey A must go to a participant to B, and I think the easiest way would be to remove answer from A and put a copy to survey A'. I am not doing this to myself but for a researcher and I try to make this as easy as possible for her.)
