How to get Date Submitted to work was created by ulandreman
Please help us help you and fill where relevant:
Your LimeSurvey version: Version 6.9.0+241218
Own server or LimeSurvey hosting: GoDaddy virtual server
Survey theme/template: fruity_twentythree
==================
When I see the responses for my live survey, the Date Submitted for everyone is "1980-01-01 00:00:00".
The survey is open to anyone with a link.
I've read that that may be related to anonymized responses, but I didn't change any of the default settings in that regard.
What do I need to do to get the actual date and time that the respondent submitted the entry?
I'd hate to have to ask "What is today's date?"

Thanks in advance

I went to the Notifications and Data section to change the Date Stamp setting.
I got the message that I needed to Stop (Expire) the survey to change that setting.
I did so and the survey is listed as Expired.

However when I went back to change the Date Stamp setting, the system still showed that I needed to Stop the survey first.

How do I get it so the system realizes that the survey is Expired?  Is it a cache issue?

Thanks!

This is because there are two ways to "stop" a survey.
And you obviously selected the wrong one.

1. "Expire"
This you select when the survey is completed. So no more participants can enter the survey, but the data table is still accessible.

2.
This you may select when the survey is done. Now the data table isn't accessible - though you can import it when you activate the survey again.
