Hello friends, I need your help. I have a control of type "Array(Numbers)" that has 6 columns with the "Checkbox layout" option enabled. I would like that if the user checks the last column, called "N/A," the checkboxes in the first five columns of the same row are unchecked, if any are checked. Additionally, if any checkbox in the first five columns is checked, the checkbox in the sixth column, "N/A," should be disabled. I can't find any option that allows me to perform this validation. Is it possible to implement this? Thank you for your recommendations.

Thank you very much, @Joffm. Adding the script solved my problem. It’s worth mentioning that the script will only work if you have a paid plan; it doesn’t work on the free plan. Thanks again, @Joffm.

It does work in all plans.
The free plan is only limited by number of responses and - as the "basic" and "expert" plans - no plugins.

Hi Joffm, When I tried to save the question with the JavaScript script, I received an error message stating that it is not possible to save scripts with the FREE plan. Could it be that I need to enable some feature in the free plan?

That must be new then. Probably to avoid that a lot of people in the free plan that can be registered without any real personal information use this to do "bad things".

The free plan is for testing only anyway. Can't do much with the number of free responses you get.

Help us to help you!
  • Provide your LS version and where it is installed (own server, uni/employer, SaaS hosting, etc.).
  • Always provide a LSS file (not LSQ or LSG).
Note: I answer at this forum in my spare time, I'm not a LimeSurvey GmbH employee.

That's correct, I usually use the free version to create questionnaires and run tests, and then I migrate to the paid plan afterward. It's a shame that the use of scripts isn't enabled in the free version, but anyway, thank you.
