Hello everyone! I have a quick question and I'm not sure if it's possible. I’m running a survey in two languages, US (English) and MX (Spanish), with nationally representative quotas for age, gender, and region. The issue I'm facing is that I want to run both within the same survey, but when I set the percentage split for a variable like age, it applies the same distribution across both markets, even though the national representation differs between the US and Mexico.I haven’t found a way to set different quota limits (as defined in LimeSurvey) for each country. The only solution I can think of is creating a separate survey for Mexico.Does anyone have any insights on how to handle this?
There might be a way to use the "lang" tag in the url to identify which language they are using.
On the other side: In the US Spanish is very wide spread and you might have people from the US prefering Spanish as the language of the survey.
So basing the quota for USA vs. Mexico on the language of the questionnaire might not be the best choice.
I personally would probably make a copy of the survey to have two separate surveys, one for Mexico, one for the US. Bringing the results back together is quite easy, as long as you don't want to "analyze" the results for both countries within Limesurvey (which I don't recommend anyway, as the reporting tool in Limesurvey is very basic).
In general, I find it best practice to separate the surveys if there are different countries involved and the questionnaires are slightly different, which is often the case.
But if they questionnaires themselve are 100% the same, you could try to pass a variable via the survey link (or if you use tokens have a custom attribute) and write it into a hidden question, so you can use it for quotas.

Provide your LS version and where it is installed (own server, uni/employer, SaaS hosting, etc.).
Always provide a LSS file (not LSQ or LSG).

To do this in one survey you’ll need to use a combination of equation questions and some hidden questions. Eg hidMXGender with male and female options and use an equation to populate it. You can then set quotas on this hidden question.
