When I click on the resource function (file upload), the screen stops working. The browser displays the message "Page not responding (RESULT_CODE_HUNG)."
I cannot use the resource function even after clearing the session and resetting the asset.
Please tell me what to do to fix this.
Your installation LS 5.6.9 was released on 6th of March 2023. It is now basically 2 years old and thus hasn't received any updates, bug fixes and security patches for 2 years.
LS 5 is also EOL and not supported anymore. I would at least update to the latest LS5 version before you search for bugs. Or even better: Upgrade to LS6.
However, to me, this sounds more like a server configuration issue than anything else.

Provide your LS version and where it is installed (own server, uni/employer, SaaS hosting, etc.).
Always provide a LSS file (not LSQ or LSG).
