Hi,
I have a survey that will be administered to patients by a few students. I need each student to be able to complete the survey multiple times. Ideally, I'd like to have one token per patient to identify them and therefore give each student several tokens. However, I dan't seem to find how to do it.
Any suggestion?
Thank you!

This can be easily done. We have done this in the past. Substitute your students with our field interviewers and it is basically the same thing.

However, you will have to work a little out of the box. You will set up a closed survey with tokens first. Then you will have to create the tokens and the token links. Usually they are sent via email to the respondents, so you have to work around it a little bit.

E.g. I create dummy participants with some made up name John Doe1, John Doe2, .... with fake emails like johndoe1@doecorporation.com, johndoe2@doecorporation.com etc.

What I also do is create tokens that allow me to easily identify the student that did the interview. E.g.

A001, A002, A003, ... , A099. Then B001, B002, etc.

Ideally, you create one test participant, then export the CSV file and you have the structure you need to work from.

Once you have the token table and have uploaded it, you can go to the participant screen and copy ONE of the links. Depending on your version (which you didn't mention and even deleted the questions at the beginning of each new thread), it is behind the little cog wheel or somewhere else.

With that, and some concatenate formula use in Excel, you can create the links within an Excel-Sheet and distribute them to the students.

Help us to help you!
  • Provide your LS version and where it is installed (own server, uni/employer, SaaS hosting, etc.).
  • Always provide a LSS file (not LSQ or LSG).
