For a multiple choice Q1, I provided different answer option, and a "other with text box" (automated by Limesurvey function)
In Q2, I used multiple numerical input (slide bar) to ask their satisfation level based on option they choose for Q1.

I used array filter in Q2 to only show the matching answer options. But I do not know how to include "other with whatever they put in" in the subquestion for Q2. I am stuck here. Could anyone help?

What code should I put in Q2's subquestion and relevent equation to allow me show whatever they write down for "other" with the slide bar.

Many thanks!

Hi,
I hope you know that the codes in Q1 and Q2 have to be identical.
So you need to know the code of "other" in Q1.

To find out,

A. Read the manual
www.limesurvey.org/manual/ExpressionScri...code_variable_naming

B.  Activate the survey and have a look at the response table
Then you will see something like this

Now you know the subquestion code which you enter as "code"
and as label you enter the entire QCODE with surrounding curly brackets, like  {Q3_other}

And what do you mean by and relevent equation?
If you use "array filter" no need for "relevance equation"

I think he/she just means how to get the answer given in the G1 other field in G2 as a subquestion/answer option.

I guess this question is also answered. And obviously, one doesn't write this into the relevance equation, but into the answeroption / subquestion field.
