(Write here your question/remark)

Hi everyone, I have a question and I would like to know if it can be done with Limesurvey. I am currently working on a survey to launch for internal company staff, but I would like the link with which they receive the invitation email to have a company domain, that is, currently if I launch a survey it comes out like this: example.com/encuestas/index.php/614773?lang=es

So I would not like participants to ignore the survey for fear of not being a secure link. My question is: Is there a way that when the link is sent it can be "masked" with a personal address? For example, the URL says: www.google.com.mx but they are redirected to the survey and it remains for the entire survey?

Thank you all very much for your great help.

Install Limesurey on your own domain : www.limesurvey.org/manual/Installation_-_LimeSurvey_CE/en
OR

What you are asking for is pretty much standard with Limesurvey.

If you have control over the domain, you can configure your domain so that it points to your survey.

However, usually the actual domain points to the website, so you probably don't want that, if it is not a domain that was created just for the survey. But what is very common, is to use a subdomain, something like survey.yourcompany.mx.

But this all depends on where your survey is hosted. If you are on the Limesurvey Hosting (SaaS) service, you need to check the packages that allow your own domain like Denis said.

If it is your own server, speak to the server admin. They should know how to do that stuff.

Help us to help you!
  • Provide your LS version and where it is installed (own server, uni/employer, SaaS hosting, etc.).
  • Always provide a LSS file (not LSQ or LSG).
Note: I answer at this forum in my spare time, I'm not a LimeSurvey GmbH employee.

Hi,
you wish that the survey doesn't appear with the url of your market research company (which the paericipants may not know), but with a different url (preferable of asked employees'  company .

What I see:
  1. You may install Limesurvey somewhere on the server of this company
  2. Use a subdomain like "company.DNMafo.com"
  3. The company will announce this survey, or?
So the company can tell the staff that the survey is conducted by a market research company.
  4. There is a website of the company where the survey is announced, explained that a market research company will conduct the survey, and than a redirect to your survey url (maybe again with a subdomain)
