Selective presentation of questions was created by wkorosec
Please help us help you and fill where relevant:
Your LimeSurvey version: LimeSurvey Community Edition Version 6.10.1+250120
Own server or LimeSurvey hosting: Own server / Ubuntu 24.04 LTS
Survey theme/template:
==================
I have a pretty long list of questions (108) related to a Cybersecurity assessment. The questions address different topics and different group of people inside the company- C-Level, HR, technical people.
So the answers in *one* specific survey comes from different people.

Is it possible to hide/show a predefined set of questions depending on an answer in the survey or with the help of a parameter in the URL ?

Typically we fill out the survey during an interview.
The use case would look like this:
1. Select your specific survey
2. Select "questions for the CIO" - go with him through his question
3. Select "questions for the sysadmin" - go with him through his question (in the *same* survey !)

Any idea how to handle that requirement ?

Best regards,
Wolfgang

In my opinion your explanation is a bit confusing.
1. You say

Is it possible to hide/show a predefined set of questions depending on an answer in the survey or with the help of a parameter in the URL ?

Use conditions

If you want to use URL parameter, capture the value of the parameter first
www.limesurvey.org/manual/URL_fields/en#Start_URL

Or you may read Chapter 1.2. in my "Tutorial 4: Gleichungen, Zufall" (in the German part, about page 17+-)
And for these "basics" you may have a look at the many, short Youtube videos of our partner Paul Borsdorf

2. But this seems to be somethinh different

1. Select your specific survey

Is there more than one survey?

2. Select "questions for the CIO" - go with him through his question
3. Select "questions for the sysadmin" - go with him through his question (in the *same* survey !)

Is this the same person whom you want to first select one question group and afterwards select a second question group?

In this case you may use a "father-son" design.

So, genug des anscheinend unnötigen Englischs.

Thank you for your feedback. As we are in the English forum I will stick with English ;-)
I will try to answer your questions - sorry for the confusion:

1. We will do several Cybersecurity assessments in the company. One assessment = one survey. Every survey has a project leader (=interviewer).
2. Several different participants will answer the questions (CIO, sysadmin etc.) of a specific assessment during an interview
3. The participant and the project leader will go together through the survey

The interviewer will preselect the set of questions which will be asked during the  interview with the specific participant. The CIO will only see the questions which are relevant for him,  the sysadmin will see "his" questions, different from the CIOs questions.

But I think I just found the solution in the forum ;-)

Example there is a hospital - that should work for us too !

Best regards
Wolfgang
