Suppose I have an existing test webApp, with navbar/pages/sections.

If I want to have a user select "surveyLink1" to get to the page/section that has the "survey", is this doable?

I think it should be, but I haven't yet seen an example of this.

Do you have a working Limesurvey installation?
DId you create a small test survey in the meantime as @holch recommended?
Then you ought to answer the questions at the beginning about version, and how and where hosted.

There is no reason why you shouldn't have a button in your application that links to the survey.
