Order of Randomization groups was created by KatharinaFietz
Hello,
I am trying to design a discrete choice experiment in Limesurvey.
I want to show some question groups in a random order.
Therefore, I used the Randomization group function. However, now, I was wondering if there is any way to see in which number the questions were shown?
I need to know the order in which questions were shown for some robustness checks.
Thank you and best,
Katharina

Hi,
quick answer from my phone:
Use ".gseq"

Thanks for the swift reply, Joffm!

I used the following code in an equation question. The questions that are displayed in a random order are called ChoiceCard1-ChoiceCard10

LIST: {list(sum(ChoiceCard1.gseq,1),sum(ChoiceCard2.gseq,1),sum(ChoiceCard3.gseq,1), sum(ChoiceCard4.gseq,1), sum(ChoiceCard5.gseq,1), sum(ChoiceCard6.gseq,1), sum(ChoiceCard7.gseq,1), sum(ChoiceCard8.gseq,1), sum(ChoiceCard9.gseq,1), sum(ChoiceCard10.gseq,1))}

And got accordingly the following List:

LIST: 14, 15, 25, 20, 23, 24, 19, 21, 18, 16

Just for me to understand, that means, that my question "ChoiceCard1" was displayed as question number 14 of the survey, my question "ChoiceCard2" as question number 15, my "ChoiceCard3" as question number 25 and so on?

Thank you very much in advance and best!

Katharina

Not "question number", but "group number"
qseq = question sequence
gseq = group sequence

One hint. In my opinion it is a bit easier to read if you use numbers from 1 - 10 as your cards go from 1 - 10
So instead of adding "1" - what is only done to avoid a start from "0" - you may subtract a value to start from "1" insted from "14".
