Hi everyone,

I am trying to have my questionnaire professionally translated. The translator requires a survey export for which the lsa format seems ideal since it can easily be reimported without having to recreate the structure of the survey. How can I get to the actual text elements for tranlstion though without ANY need for copy/paste. Also please refrain from suggesting auto translation by Google. This will not fit my purposes.

Hi,
I am a bit confused that you mention the lsa export.
Do you want to translate the responses?
I ask because the lsa export contains structure and responses, while the lss export only contains the structure.

And did you export your survey?
You see the lss export with two languages (en and de) will look like this.

If it suits you, fine.

In my opinion better is a txt export.
This you can open in Excel
and you will get this

And you can import this txt file as well.
It also contains the entire structure of the survey

Of course, as long as there is no translation, the fields of the second language will be empty
