==================
Hi!
i have two groups: A and B
group A and group B both need to be shuffled, which can easily be done via the randomization group.
In group A i have Blocks of four questions that need to be shuffled.

A1-4
A5-8
A9-12
need to be shuffled.
So a result might be:
A5-8
A1-4
A9-12

I can't figure out how to do this. Can you give me a direction where to look?
I thought about sub-groups. this would solve this...but limesurvey seems not to support this feature.

Thanks in advance for any help!

Limesurvey only offers to shuffle / randomize questions or question groups. You can't shuffle "groups of questions" that are in a question group.

So you need to group A1-4 together in the same group, also A5-8 and A9-12.

How do you present the survey?

All in one? Question by question? Or group by group?

Hi holch! Thanks for your reply!

In a best case scenario i show every group in a single page.
So firstly f.e. A5-8 then A1-4, etc.

Let's first define what you consider a "group", as you have two types of groups.

Is A1-4 a group or is this a subgroup of all questions with A?

Because if you want to show all A-Questions on a single page, but you want subgroups shuffled (A1-4, A5-8, etc), then you will have to do some custom coding. If you could define A1-4 as one question group, and A5-8 as one, etc. then you could do it easily with what imesurvey offers you out of the box.
