==================
Hi all!
I am using the Cloud version 6.6.1

I want to give respondents an option between two 'cases' the following way:

Some people like bananas    but     other people like apples.

I want one radio button to the left of the banana option, and one on the right of the apple option (see picture A). It does not have to be left and right, but it should be clear to which option the button belongs.

I have tried the array semantic option (see second picture) but here the 'but' is missing.

I also tried the Liste (Radio) option with answers in columns, but here I would need to have the 'but' central, hide the button of 'mais' (it is not supposed to be an answer option), and I do not know how to do this.

Or do I need to code the whole question? If so, any hints how to get started? (and where to code it.. as I am using the online interface).

Thanks a lot!

I don't think that there is a way out of the box to have the "but" between those two columns.

I think the best option would be the semantic diferential, in terms of optics.

I am sure there is a way to achieve what you want via Javascript, by adding a column in the middle with the text "mais" and having the radio buttons to the outside. Let's see if tpartner finds this thread. Quite sure he'll know a solution.

Hi,
you find two ways to achieve this in my "Tutorial 1:Matrizen". (chapter 18)
It is in the German section, page 11,12, or ... and - in German.

I'm out of office till tomorrow evening.
Back home I'll send an example.

Rough screenshot of the page.
You clearly see the "Aber" between the two items.
