HI,
I'm having trouble getting a Java script to work.

The objective is to insert an Array(text) type question into the survey but with response options in the dropdown menu.

For the solution I referred to Joffm's post

forums.limesurvey.org/forum/can-i-do-thi...cific-columns#226674

and especially on the post to his first option, what he defines as "usual" to insert different dropdowns different columns.

forums.limesurvey.org/forum/can-i-do-thi...menu-in-array#226612

I think I'm doing something wrong in its application in my question or I'm doing something wrong in the configuration. I attach the .lss file with the inserted question.

I did some tests to verify that JS works correctly, and everything works.

Thanks to anyone who can help meBye Cristiano

Hi,
everything is nearly fine.
You saw that when you imported the mentioned example.

But only nearly.
It's the apostrophe in "Tutto l’anno o quasi (9-12 mesi)" and "In altri mesi dell'anno" that destoys the syntax.
You have to mask it with a backslash.
"Tutto l\’anno o quasi (9-12 mesi)"

Hi Joffm,
thanks.
My little experience with JS didn't let me find the problem.

a good day

Hi Joffm,

I'm returning to my old post because I've been asked to modify the format of the question I previously requested help with.
The research coordinators would like the first column to act as a filter for the other columns. In other words, they want to allow the completion of columns 2, 3, and 4 only if the first column is answered with "Yes" or if the first column, converted into a single checkbox (active/inactive), is active.
I tried searching the forum, but I couldn't find any script that could help me.
I'm attaching the survey file again.

Thanks

Here you find a script to handle columns depending on another column.
Adapt to your needs
