Hej! I am currently trying to integrate an existing panel from the panel platform "prolific" into my survey experiment. However, I am so confused about the documentation on panel integration.Do I need to use the official panel integration feature in settings? And if so how does it work? I am confused about it asking me to select a questions since I would like to direct people from prolific to the entire survey.Alternatively, can I just paste the link to the survey as found in settings > overview into my prolific study?(Side note: I have managed to set up the automatic redirect to Prolific at the end of the study upon submitting so its only about getting participants to my survey the correct way.)Thanks so so much for your support!
The Panel adds a variable to your survey link that identifies the study and the user. When people come to you survey from the panel, they click on this link and the variables that the panel provider adds to the links needs to be stored in Limesurvey, so you can later pass it on to the redirect URLs (e.g. End URL and Quota URLs).
To be able to pass this variable /ID on to the end urls, you need to store it somewhere and then add it to the URLs (as they usually need to be tailored to the respondent, so the Panel can identify them).
That is what the question is for. You create a question that you later hide and when the respondent clicks on the link and opens your survey, the variables they are passing on are stored in questions (each variable will probably need their own question, depends on how many variables the panel providers adds).
Once this variable is stored in your database the respondent will go through your questionnaire. Then at the end you pass this variable to the end url that redirects the respondents to the panel provider so they can register their success.
Often you also need to have a redirect when someone is screened out or when they run into a quota. These are usually different links, because the panel will pay them differently if they got to the end or have been screened out (e.g. too old) or ran in a quota (you wanted n=50 women, so if this number is surpassed they will receive a message and the survey is finished early).
So this is basically how this works.

Provide your LS version and where it is installed (own server, uni/employer, SaaS hosting, etc.).
Always provide a LSS file (not LSQ or LSG).
