Please help us help you and fill where relevant:
Your LimeSurvey version: Version 5.6.57+240312
Own server or LimeSurvey hosting: Limesurvey hosting
Survey theme/template: ranking advanced
==================
Hello! I am reaching to inquire if I can create a drag and drop feature, potentially by adding more columns/rows to the ranking advanced question type. It would be ideal for my survey design where I prompt survey respondents to categorize certain statements.

Hi,

where I prompt survey respondents to categorize certain statements.

to achieve this you may use the plugin "cardSort"
github.com/tpartner/LimeSurvey-Card-Sorting-5x-6x

Like this (which is the default)

or this (with some css)

Did you upload and install this question theme?
If "Yes", how did you do this?
Did you manually upload the folder "Card-Sort" to ".../themes/question"
Or did you do it by the GUI?

Remember: You must unzip the file and zip again onle the folder "Card-Sort".
As explained on the download page

 • Manual installation - Extract the download and upload the Card-Sort folder to /pathToLimeSurvey/upload/themes/question/.
 • Theme manager - Extract the download, compress (zip) the Card-Sort folder and import via the theme manager.

With an installed theme I see this (your lss)

What is displayed in your survey?

You say you are using the cloud version but uploaded the files manually. How is that possible? As far as I know, with the cloud version you must import via the installer.

As Joffm asks, did you exactly follow the instructions "Extract the download, compress (zip) the Card-Sort folder and import via the theme manager." or did you import the Github download directly?

Do you have any other JavaScript running that could be causing errors?

Cheers,
Tony Partner

In that case, you did not follow the instructions.

You can not download from Github and then directly upload to LimeSurvey!

You must extract(open) the Github download, then zip the contained Card-Sort folder and upload that to LimeSurvey.

If you do it the wrong way it will appear that the question theme is installed but it will not work.
