Using Different Answer Prefixes Per Line was created by jack56
Hey folks,
I am using the question type "multiple short text" (with 3 lines) and want to add a prefix to each line: "1:" in front of the first line, "2:" in front of the second line, "3:" in front of the third line. What kind of code (?) do I need to insert in the prefix field on the right-handed editing field to get what I want? Right now it looks like in the attached screenshot which is not what i want.
Thanks,
Jack

Volunteers are not paid.
Not because they are worthless, but because they are priceless

Which text did you enter in the subquestions?

None, they are empty (open) fields to be filled in by the respondents. I only put "1:" in the prefix-field.

Why you didn't set 1:; 2: ; 3: for each subquestion ?

You did not enter anything here?
Then you will not see anything
Enter, what you want to display
and everything is fine
Prefix and Suffix are something different (as you saw).

Thanks, you are right, now it works. The problem was that the "Label wrapper width" was hidden. Now I set it to 8% and it works. Sorry, I don't know why this was hidden, must have been set by a colleague.
