After the first general tests of normal distribution (e.g. Kolmogorow-Smirnow) etc.
Depending on the scale level, you run a independent t-test, U-test, or a simple CHI-square. And a Pearson correlation to check if the results of one scale are covered by something else.
Use your preferred tool . All include these basic tests. (PSPP, SPSS, R, Jasp, Jamovi, etc., even Excel or OpenOffice
