I have made a survey for a client and enabled cookie to prevent repeat participation.
The client also wants to add their own Salesforce cookie to record responses directly into their CRM. Is this possible in LimeSurvey?
Not sure if it is possible technically (probably by editing the survey theme). But before that, you should check if this is in accordance with the privacy policy you have, etc.
For most research that adheres to the ESOMAR code of conduct (we market researchers adhere to), I think this would be a no go. Usually we are not allowed to pass any personal information of respondents on to the end client.
In most jurisdictions with some kind of a privacy law (like GDPR, LGPD, etc) this might be a breach of these laws or at least you would have to clearly inform the respondents about setting this third party cookie.
Also, many browsers limit or prevent third party cookies, so you should have a look into those issues.

Provide your LS version and where it is installed (own server, uni/employer, SaaS hosting, etc.).
Always provide a LSS file (not LSQ or LSG).
