I can download responses to the survey using the API for Python. 
But is there no way to download the resources from the users using the API? (they sign an image with their signature which will be saved)
It seems like you can only download the zip archive manually on the website.

Have you tried get_uploaded_files() with a token value?

I saw it, but haven't tried it because:
"On success: array containing all uploads of the specified response"
How could the zip or images be inside an array? Sounds like the Array only has information (such as the names) of those images. Or will the array have the URLs to download each file?

Also, "Obtain all uploaded files for all responses" is PHP(?) and not Python.
The mentioned Python library from Github currently has fewer features (seems to be a work in progress).
