Please help us help you and fill where relevant:

Own server or LimeSurvey hosting: Own server
Survey theme/template: fruity

I am sending out LimeSurvey invitations from the admin address. Before I send, the "send email reminder" interface provides me with: "DIES survey - Causemann <DIES survey <bc@causemann.org>>" (attachment 1) What shows in my inbox is "Bernward Causemann" (attachment 2). Others receive my plain e-mail address.
Settings see attachments 3 and 4 - it happens in both cases.
How can I ensure that recipients see "DIES survey" as sender?

People probably see "Bernward Causemann" because this email address is stored in their address book under this name. I don't think you can do anything about this as long as you send your emails via this email address, as it is some setting on their end you can't really influence.

I answer at the LimeSurvey forum in my spare time, I'm not a LimeSurvey GmbH employee.

Thanks, that helps. After elimnating that problem, the mail comes from "Administrator". If I click "Inherit ON", General Settings shows "Administrator". If I click "Inherit OFF", settings shows "DIES Survey". But the invitation I receive on various mail addresses is still from "Administrator". That stays the same even if I change the "From" in the invitation form before I send out the invitation.
What I can do?

I have now created a new mail address that contains the survey name. Now, the sender address seems to be shown on the recipient side.
