Hallo! 
Ich habe leider seit mehren Tagen ein Problem mit der Gestaltung meiner Limesurveyumfrage. Ich möchte über Limesurvey mein Stimulusmaterial (kurze Videos) pilotieren. Obwohl ich schon eine alte Umfrage mit dem gleichen Aufbau vor zwei Jahren problemlos durchführen konnte, hatte ich dieses Mal einige Schwierigkeiten. 
Erst konnte ich keine Videos (mp4) auf dem Server hochladen, dies ließ sich durch Installieren des neuen Updates beheben. Jetzt kann ich die Videos zwar hochladen und einfügen, aber sie erscheinen nicht bei der Frage. Es wird nur wie ein kleines leeres Feld angezeigt + die Fragen dazu. Ich weiß leider wirklich nicht, was ich falsch mache, ich habe sogar die alte Umfrage dupliziert, bei der es ja zumindest schon mal funktioniert hat.
Hilfe! Hat vielleicht jemand ein ähnliches Problem?

Unfortunately, I have been having a problem with the design of my LimeSurvey questionnaire for several days. I want to pilot my stimulus material (short videos) using LimeSurvey. Although I was able to conduct an old survey with the same structure two years ago without any issues, I encountered some difficulties this time.

First, I couldn't upload videos (mp4) to the server, but this was resolved by installing the new update. Now I can upload and insert the videos, but they don't appear in the question. Only a small empty field is displayed along with the associated questions. Unfortunately, I really don't know what I'm doing wrong. I even duplicated the old survey, where it had worked before.

Help! Does anyone perhaps have a similar problem?

I couldn't upload videos (mp4) to the server, but this was resolved by installing the new update.

I highly doubt that an update solved this. There were probably other settings from your university that prevented you from uploading mp4. But anyway, this seemed to be solved.

Now to your problem: Unfortunately you are omitting the most important points.

How did you implement the video in your survey? What is the code used?

Do you have a small sample file to show us what you did? Please only LSS, no LSG or LSQ.

Maybe the admin of the installatin doesn't allow you to insert videos?

The link to the survey you posted only gives a 401 error:

401: Nicht autorisiert Leider haben Sie dafür keine Berechtigung.

So you probably didn't activate the survey.

You say you only see a "small empty field".
This could be caused by an incorrect path to the video.

But as @holch: Send a lss export of this relevant question.

And a way to insert videos you may see in my "Tutorial 3: Gimmicks..." Kap. 2 in the German part.

The thing i don´t understand is, that in the old survey i could upload mp4 files and the videos were embedded in the questions. I gladly provide the .lss structure of the old and the new survey, with which i am having poblems at the moment. 
For implementing the video files in the question i used the toolbar (see attached picture). Also i used the same thing in the old survey, which worked fine.

so I investigated a bit, just playing around with some settings.
And I found

If you address a not existing file you see in the editor

1. without controls="controls"
 
2. with controls="controls"
 

And in the preview you see either nothing or the same black area with the controls.

For a general check you may address a different file somewhere like

You enter it in the HTML code.
Switch to source code mode and you see.

I think the button to switch the mode is the one with the two brackets.
