Restrict user access to the custom URL

Dear Experts,

is it possible to restrict URL access without providing users the access code? I need to use the URL in ticketing system and my customers will click the link from there, but I don't want others to use those URLs, is it possible? For example, only the customer who use that specific email account is Authorised to click the URL? We have custom attributes set for the URL, one of the attributes is Email address, this attribute is fetched from our Zammad ticketing system.

You need to be sure at (near) 100% : use token

You have the email in another system use API : www.limesurvey.org/manual/RemoteControl_2_API

What do you ask is impossible not due to LimeSurvey but due to internet functionality.

I do not understand your problem.

You send a link with certain parameters. Do you fear that this respondent shares this link with all hies friends?
Now you know how to avoid multiple submissions.

If somebody uses the generic link without parameters he also will be screened out
And if somebody uses the link with a manipulated TicketID you will see it in your analysis

If you want to avoid manipulated TicketIDs you may use @tpartner's proposal to add participants by the API - meaning a token based survey - and send the invitation also by the API.

Dear Joffm,

Yes, that's the main concern. If someone knows the pattern of the survey format, then they might generate a lot of invalid responses. This is not that a big deal, but just nice to know if there is an easy way to avoid:) We can filter them by mapping the correct TicketID VS Email attribute though.
