Hi all,

I want to make an array-type question in which respondents can select only one answer per row (as well as the default one answer per row). To illustrate, in my screenshot you can see that there all rows have the "A1" option filled. I want this to be impossible - only one row should be able to answer "A1" and all the row answers should be unique. How can this be done? 

 

Validate with "unique(self)"

Thanks for the reply. I'm not having any luck with this. I tried it and I get the attached message in the question summary; but it's still entirely possible to pick A1 for all of the rows.

you did not set any validation tip.

So it only seems that you can dio that.

But:

• your validation hint will show the error
• you are not allowed to proceed
