Hmmm, I think there is little chance that someone is running such an old version of Limesurvey anymore. This was released 14 years ago.

I can't remember what options where available back then, but to be honest, I can't even remember a time where there were no LSS files (I might be wrong though). Are you sure you can't export the survey to LSS or LSA?

If there is really no LSS support, there is a slight chance that by renaming the XML file to LSS it could work. Because a LSS file is actually a (Limesurvey specific) XML file. But there is a chance that the format has changed since.

Can you attach the XML file so we can have a look what the code looks like? I think the forum doesn't allow to upload XML files, just rename it to LSS or something then.

  • Provide your LS version and where it is installed (own server, uni/employer, SaaS hosting, etc.).
  • Always provide a LSS file (not LSQ or LSG).

But, depending on the survey, you might be quicker to replicate it in a newer version of LS. ;-)

Thank you so much. I try to rename the file yesterday, but not solve the problem. I think the xml format and the table schema si different.

There is an option for importing from a tab seperated text file, but I guess this is also different to the CSV file.

let's see what others have to say, but my guess ist, there is little to no (reasonable) way to get this into a LS3 or LS5 installation. But maybe @Denis, @Tpartner or @Joffm have some idea.
