Hello All,
I would want to make backward navigation from the "print your answers" as well as the "View the public statistics" pages possible so that a person can switch between viewing the public statistics as well as downloading his/hers answers. Is this possible in limesurvey?
Any help would be appreciated. Thank you :)

Again you did not answer the initial questions.

Is this possible in limesurvey?

This is possible in each browser.
Right click

Thank you for your reply @Joffm.
I don't understand what and where are the initial questions. I seem to have lost the context to this regard.

And regarding the right click, is it still possible to build a back button to these pages so that the survey is more user-friendly. Many of my clients would not know about right-clicking and might end up closing the survey while viewing the statistics and not downloading their assessments.

Whenever you create a new topic, there is initial text in the text box:

These cover which version of Limesurvey you use, where it is hosted, which theme is used, etc. All basic information that might be very helpful for the helpers in the forum.
If you just ignore these, we most probably will have to ask for them anyway. So instead of diving directly into the response, we need to ask you first. So help us to help you.

And you might think: But I have asked so many questions before and I have told you already, which version I use. First of all, we won't remember the version of each user here in the forum. And we also won't go back to search in older posts which version you use. But solutions can be quite different, depending on the version you use, if it is hosted by Limesurvey GmbH, by yourself or by a university or other organization, where you might not be able to use Javascript, Plugins or make changes to the template.

Therefore it is important to know more or less with what we are working here, even if it might be annoying having to give this information every time you open a net topic. But imagine how annoying it is for us to have to ask every time for every user... ;-)

Help us to help you!
  • Provide your LS version and where it is installed (own server, uni/employer, SaaS hosting, etc.).
  • Always provide a LSS file (not LSQ or LSG).
Note: I answer at this forum in my spare time, I'm not a LimeSurvey GmbH employee.

Ahh okay I never noticed the text inside the box, I just always thought it was some built in template. Then I shall post my concerns with these questions and information from now on :)

But...you still haven't answered the questions.

Regarding the button, no, you cannot/shouldn't force someones browser behaviour.

Cheers,

LimeSurvey version: Version 5.3.12+220502
Own server or LimeSurvey hosting: Limesurvey hosted
Survey theme/template: Fruity_extended -> Custom theme with small theme changes
Sorry I thought I'll make another topic, but here are the details.

And regarding the buttons, My clients wish a back button in these pages. Is it possible to add a functionality to the buttons that directly takes them to a new tab instead of right-clicking.
Most of the clients don't have this knowledge and it is common behavior to click on a button when it is present.

Okay,

Most of the clients don't have this knowledge

You can explain it in the end message.

it is common behavior to click on a button when it is present.

You did not mention that you changed the links to buttons.
Again we have to read older posts of yours.

Well, just add a target="_blank" to the <a href..."
