resending "resume later" link was created by joeschwab
Hello,
I have an open access survey with the resume later feature enabled. We would like to follow up with these participants who have not resumed their survey after some time. Is there a way to resend or retrieve or even reconstruct the url that is sent to resume later participants, so that we could send them the link again?

You have an open survey and activated the "resume later" function during an activated survey. How would you know the respondents without being offered the option to resume later actual want to resume later. They just stopped at a certain point and didn't finish the survey. I wonder how do you want to contact them, when it is an open survey?

Our survey is very long. So some participants click the "resume later" button, which saves their progress, and enters their email address. Limesurvey sends them a link to their email.

However, If for some reason they don't get the email or lose the link, we would like to be able to send them the link again.

This email was thought for participants who fear to suffer from Alzheimer disease - meaning to forget their entered credentials.
But now in the email they receive their entered user name, but no password.

And additionally a link that leads to the page where they enter the credentials after resuming.
So in my opinion this email is useless at the moment.
If  I forget my password - bad luck.

And the usual approach is:
Use the general link again and then "Load unfinished survey" where you enter your chosen user name and password.

So it is sufficient to send the general link again in case they "lost the link", as you can't resend a "lost password".

But you "can" send this mail again.
In "lime_saved_control" you find the values.

Well, you can send a mail, but as a participant I'd lose all my confidence in you if I read this
To remain anonymous please use a pseudonym as your username, also an email address is not required.
and then get a mail to my email address with exactly this pseudonym.

And as you wrote in your first post, it is more or less a "pushing to continue".

I understand that and second that for a feature request. LimeSurvey is currently not taking into account, when emails are not sent. Not only when it comes to that function here.

Sorry for misreading your request. I have read it wrong (later enabled after the survey already started instead of "resume later feature").

And it would be better if LimeSurvey would offer a URL, QRCode and Code to reenter a survey. And not stick to the E-Mailsystem alone.
