Is it possible to add such an option for participants of the survey?

==================
Dear Community,

I was wondering if there is an option for participants to print out certain information given out before the actual survey starts.
These information might be the following
  1. Aim of the study
  2. Voluntariness of participation
  3. Data protection / security

We would like to add a simple button which would allow the participants to print this information and the question is: Is there an option to e.g. place a simple button on a page like "Print pdf"?

Thanks in advance for your help.
Greetings Carsten

Yes.

As you do not use the program yet, it's useless to say more.

Joffm

P.S.
If you are able to read German have a look at my "Tutorial 3: Gimmicks,..." Chapter 12.
You find it in the German part. Still on page 1.

Why print to PDF? You can simply print the welcome page directly from the browser.

That is correct!
We thought about adding such a button to make it easier and to avoid unnecessary text on the welcome page which has nothing to do with the actual survey itself.

However, I read through the Post which was mentioned by Joffm and took a look at the manual. It is true that we do not use the program yet but we wanted to make sure if certain options are possible before going into coding the survey.
Unfortunately I did not find anything related to the original question and therefore we might go with the classical STRG + P.

Thank you both for your replies and your fast help.

Alternatively, create a PDF outside of LimeSurvey (MS Word --> PDF), upload that to the survey resources folder and give a link to that document in the welcome message.

A simple <a href="path_to_my_pdf/myPDF.pdf">Link to open</a> is sufficient.

or a bootstrap button
<a class="btn btn-primary" href="path_to_my_pdf/myPDF.pdf" role="button">Bootstrap-Button</a>

Upload the pdf and everything's fine.
