==================
I'm using  GitHub - tpartner/LimeSurvey-Card-Sorting-3.x: A custom question theme for "card sorting" in LimeSurvey 3.x  and it's great. But one use I'd like to try out is to have 20 statements be sorted but it doesn't look good to show all of them at once.

I was wondering if there is a way to limit the number of cards shown in a card sorting question? It might even be good to have one card being displayed and replaced with the next one after being sorted.

Changing the size of the display in the css doesn't do anything - cards just fall out of it. The alternative would be to split up the question but then you can't look back at what you've already done.

My current guess is that I'd have to edit the  cardsort.js  but I'd like to do it within the question since I can't access themes.

Thanks in advance.

Hi,
in my opinion a cardsort is not a suitable question type for "statements".
Logos, Brand names, yes, but statements?

But with some addition to the original cardsort.css you may get this.
This my addition you find in the thread "Card Sorting" started by @RitaShen

Or with a fixed width

You see there are some ways to display it.
But as mentioned above: I do not recommend this.
