==================
Good morning,

I am trying to assign participants to 8 conditions in which only certain question groups will be asked, so at the begining of the survey I added an invisible equation question calculating a looped 8-number sequence 0, 0.125, 0.25, 0.375, 0.5, 0.625, 0.75, and 0.875 based on the participant ID. The formula I use in the source mode is {SAVEID/8-floor(SAVEID/8)}. That worked well in the pilot test, but it missed half of the calculations in the formal survey, so only 0, 0.25, 0.5, and 0.75 appear.

I also attach screenshots of the surveys. Any ideas or help will be much appreciated!

Best,
Yoja

Hi,
you calculate it.
So the question is: is it calculated correctly?
You see the SAVEDID and can calculate the value manually to check.
Is there a wrong result?

You do not show the SAVEDIDs that lead to these results.

In a pilot survey there will be only a few people who don't finish the survey, but in a real survey you will get a lot of drop-outs.
